“We will guide you through creating your terrarium, explaining why we are adding each ingredient, step by step. After the base is created, you get to plant your terrarium with an array of tropical plants, from colourful to Jurassic! Then, add your decorations and really make it your own! We will bring a variety of coloured stones, pebbles, driftwood, pinecones, shells, rocks and even some small plastic figurines such as Dinosaurs and Zoo animals. This sized terrarium is perfect for any beginners, or younger terrarium artists, as all hands can fit easily in the top of the jar.”

Join us for our fantastic Beekeeping Workshops, where you will learn the fascinating art of beekeeping in the beautiful surroundings of Carlton Towers. Perfect for beginners and nature lovers alike, these hands-on half day sessions offer expert guidance, insight into hive life, and a closer connection to the natural world. Lead by the very knowledgeable apiarist Cristina from MI Honey.

Make your way to our Stables Tearoom, where Cristina will offer an introduction over light refreshments.
