Her early experiences of finding peace and understanding through solitude and deep reflection have shaped her into a guide for those seeking meaningful connection, with themselves, with others, and with the natural world.
Mariska’s life’s work is dedicated to the health of humanity and the planet we call home. She believes that our pursuit of optimal health and longevity must begin with a collective rise in consciousness, allowing us to thrive within nature rather than resist the very life force that sustains us.

You arrive carrying the weight of the world you’ve temporarily left behind - emails, deadlines, the relentless hum of everyday life. As you step into the historic grandeur of Carlton Towers, something begins to soften. A warm cacao ceremony draws you into the circle of fellow travellers, where intentions are set and the breath slows. An evening of restorative yoga gently coaxes tension from your body, while a candlelit dinner nourishes you from the inside out. By the time you curl up in your beautifully appointed room, you’ll already feel lighter, as though the retreat has quietly begun its work.

You wake to stillness. Morning breathwork and meditation greet the day with intention, and something in you begins to open. Breakfast becomes an experience rather than a routine. Then the forest calls - and inside Carlton Towers’ ancient woodlands, time moves differently. The forest bathing session invites you to simply be, awakening your senses in ways a screen never could. A picnic lunch beneath the Copper Beach tree, free hours to wander, journal, or sink into silence, dine in the vines and an evening firepit under the stars - by nightfall, you’ll feel reconnected to something you may have forgotten was there.

Treatments will be available and are pre-bookable on the day of check-in with Natalie for massage/reiki treatments. Slots are subject to availability on a first come first served basis between 10am - 4pm.

We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays. We have free parking onsite and a list of local taxis to try. We offer free pick up/drop off service at Selby Train Station.
