Carlton Towers rose
The Walled Garden Vineyard at Carlton Towers was planted in 2016 by Lord Gerald and Lady Emma. It now produces over 2000 bottles of sparkling wine each year.
The labels and vintage are named after Lord Gerald’s late father, the 17th Duke of Norfolk, Miles Fitzalan Howard.
The vines grown are Colmor Auxerrois - a white variety of Chardonnay grape and Pinot Noir - the only true northern hemisphere grape.
The two varieties blended make an exceptional sparkling wine which can be purchased from the Stables Tearoom and during weddings or events.
