STEP INTO A CHILDREN’S MAGICAL ADVENTURE THIS SUMMER

Carlton Towers is organising some magical adventures this summer where children will be encouraged to put down their devices and get outside to explore the great outdoors.

Led by outdoor adventure expert Adam Dove of the Yorkshire based Woodland Adventure Company, the sessions take place in the woods on the Carlton Towers Estate. Young children will be sent on an Elf Rocket Adventure, making magic wands and potions and exploring the fairy world.

Older children will learn how to craft their own bow and arrow in an adventure where they can try fun target practice and play games under the trees. Both sessions conclude with toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate around a campfire.

The Children’s Woodland Adventures are on Thursday, August 13 and Wednesday 19 August 2026 and cost £25 per child. The Elf Rocket Adventure for ages 2-6 starts at 10.30 am to 12 noon, the Bow & Arrow Adventure is for ages 7-11 and takes place from 1.30pm to 3pm. Parental supervision is advised for younger children.
