HAIL MACBETH!
THE SHAKESPEAREAN CLASSIC COMES TO CARLTON TOWERS
A spectacular open-air performance of Macbeth, Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, comes to the gothic splendour of Carlton Towers on July 6 in a production by the Duke’s Theatre Company.
Staged on the front lawns of the estate with the stately home as a backdrop, the performance promises a dynamic reimagining of the dark tale, with a contemporary twist.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own seating, picnic blankets and picnics with gates opening at 3.15pm for a 4pm performance.
Afternoon Tea Boxes can also be pre-ordered for collection on the day - £22.50 per person. Find out more here: www.carltontowers.co.uk/store-1/p/afternoon-tea-box
The Beaumont Bar will also be open during the duration of the show.
The staging marks a second visit to Carlton Towers from the Duke’s Theatre Company who successfully held performances of Dickens Christmas Carol in The Picture Gallery at the end of last year.
