Beginner Terrarium Workshop with TerrariumsDIY
Set in the idyllic Cooks Kitchen of Carlton Towers, this full day experience is a fantastic way to try a new craft!
You will create your own bespoke self-sustaining eco-system alongside a duo of Terrarium experts who have been creating and selling all things Terrarium since 2018. Everything will be provided, from the hand mixed high quality specialist terrarium substrate all the way up to the hand-blown glass made from 100% recycled glass. You'll be taken step by step through the creation process of your eco-system at a pace suited for all skill levels, with the hosts ready to explain how it all works and answer any questions as you progress.

£65.00 per person
10am - 12pm
Meet at the Stables Tearoom, then you’ll be shown to Cook’s – The original servants quarters kitchen serving Carlton Towers.
There will be a break around halfway through to enjoy a delicious cream tea - Please make us aware of any dietaries upon booking.

“Once the base of your Terrarium is created you'll get the chance to put your own touch on it with a variety of options of different decorations and plants so you can customise your own look and theme. Terrariums require almost zero maintenance, with just a watering once a year they will look after themselves the rest of the year round as you watch them grow and flourish, they make fantastic gifts for anyone who loves nature or plants, including the person that loves plants but never seems to have any luck with them.”

A little about your ticket(s)
• Due to the nature of our business, all bookings and tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE to alternative dates or events.
• Some of our events are outdoors which (being British) we will be holding these come rain or shine - So please make sure you just wear appropriate clothing for the forecast
• Carlton Towers is not always as accessible in all areas so please just make sure you check with the team if you have any mobility issues
• In the unfortunate circumstance that you can no longer attend, we offer a gesture of goodwill policy, that allows you to gift the original date/booking into an alternative name. Providing we are notified within 48 hours via email
• For events which include food please ensure you have advised the team of any dietary requirement or allergies at least 72 hours prior to arrival
• Tickets are only refundable if we (the venue) cancel or reschedule the event, under severe/unfortunate circumstances, of which you will be notified in advance of the event date via email and social media
• Unless stipulated on your ticket please be advised that you cannot bring your own food or beverages onsite or in the grounds and we reserve the right to ask you to remove these
• Some of our events require you to share a table with other guests and please ensure you explicitly advise the team if you would prefer not to do so
• As designated organiser please can you make sure your guests are aware of these terms
• As a customer of Carlton Towers your details will be held purely for the purposes of updating you on future events and our GDPR policy is on our website however if you wish to unsubscribe then please respond to this email simply by saying Unsubscribe
