TEA INTO MUSIC AMONG THE VINES
Book an afternoon tea at Carlton Towers this Spring and be serenaded by live music from talented musicians in the leafy setting of the stately home’s Walled Garden Vineyard.
Performances of ‘Harmony Among the Vines’ are planned for three dates on 31 May, 5 July and 3 August, with tickets costing £50 per person. The price includes a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and clotted cream, assorted desserts and tea, freshly prepared in-house and served in the Stables Tearoom overlooking the vines. Plus musical entertainment will be provided by Scarlett Dickinson (May and July) and Viva La Vintage (August).
Carlton Towers Walled Garden Vineyard is framed by old English rose varieties, heritage fruit trees and Victorian style herbs together with vines of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes that are blended to produce delicious sparkling wine.
If you prefer tea without accompaniment and just want to enjoy the lovely setting, Carlton Towers has afternoon teas on a series of dates starting on 16 May until 27 September from £25 per person, with a selection of three sittings on the day.
