SPRING INTO MARCH AT CARLTON TOWERS
A Candlelit Comedy Night, an Elvis King of Rock ‘n’ Roll Dinner & Tribute, plus a Spring High Tea, are just some of the events planned at Carlton Towers during March.
The stately home’s magnificent Picture Gallery will be the venue for the Comedy Night, March 7, with acclaimed stand-up comedians Paul Sinha, (The Chase) Morgan Rees (BBC Comedy Award finalist) and Bethany Black (famed for her darkly funny sets) providing entertainment and laughter by flickering candlelight.
Staged by Heritage X, there are two shows planned on the night with early bird tickets from £25 per person. A bar will provide refreshments during the evening.
Award winning Elvis tribute act Alfie Pearson brings his show featuring live backing vocalists, to Carlton Towers on March 21. As well as an evening of Elvis classics, tickets, including a three-course dinner in one of the grand state rooms, cost £59 per person.
Overnight accommodation in the main house is available for both events with luxury double rooms including a cooked breakfast from £160 for two people sharing.
Spring High Tea at the stately home on March 22, promises seasonal treats including savoury pastries and a glass of Carlton Towers sparkling wine as well as traditional sandwiches, scones, jam, cream and home-made cakes. With three sittings starting at 1pm the price is £42 per person.
