An opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to join the team at Carlton Towers near the market town of Selby and historic city of York. Carlton Towers is a privately owned stately home which hosts weddings and private events, alongside a vibrant calendar of public events. The estate comprises the Grade I listed house with accommodation in 16 state guest rooms, 250 acres of parkland, a vineyard that produces an award-winning sparkling wine, holiday cottages, and the Stables Tearoom overlooking the walled vineyard.

The role responsibilities:

• To ensure delight across all customer touchpoints.

• To manage all hospitality services and events on the estate.

• To prepare & deliver achievable budgets.

• To ensure a safe & legally compliant working environment.

Skills you will bring:

• Great interpersonal and leadership qualities.

• A growth and solutions driven mindset.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience working within a similar hospitality setting.

• Strong commercial acumen.

• An understanding of seasonality, and provenance.

• A knowledge of Guestline is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000-50,000 per annum
