Baroness’s Tower

This suite of rooms has been created within a tower on the west wing. A private lobby leads at first to a supremely luxurious bathroom.

An enormous copper bath, double basins and a walk-in shower are complemented by large picture windows with views across the private gardens and beyond.

An internal staircase leads to the second floor of the suite. A richly adorned four poster bed sits in a wonderfully lavish bedroom which has large windows with beautifully cascading curtains and again, wide ranging views of the gardens and countryside.

The Clock Tower

Clock Tower BedroomApproached up a spiral staircase, the clock tower contains two stunning and extremely spacious bedrooms with panoramic views across the parkland.

Norfolk is an exquisite room full of light with 2 large fretted windows framed by luscious curtains. A large four poster bed enhances the elegance of this room. The splendid en suite bathroom houses an oversized freestanding tub and twin basins.

Glossop is an equally impressive and stunning bedroom. One large window overlooking the park has extravagant silk curtains. Again, a beautiful four poster bed sets the scene. Glossop also has its own large luxurious bathroom with a huge freestanding tub and double basins.

The Bachelor Wing

Batchelor WingA long, elegant corridor leading off the Minstrel’s Gallery houses eight newly decorated stunning bedrooms. Each one is utterly individual with en suite bathrooms and have views over the walled garden. These new and exciting additions to our accommodation have been decorated to the highest standard and with great attention to detail reflecting the rich history of the house.

The Nursery Floor

Priests Hiding Hole BedroomThe top floor houses five and very special en suite double bedrooms created within the layout of the original nursery floor.

Priest’s Hiding Hole room is of particular interest as it houses the historic hiding place used by catholic priests during the reformation. This area has been made visible for guests to see with glass panels set in the floor. The room itself is supremely comfortable and spacious with a four poster bed, its own private lobby and a charming bathroom. Two large windows overlook the gardens.

The four remaining bedrooms are lavishly decorated with great thought and care.
Two have four poster beds and all have exquisite antiques created originally for the house.
